Lama SA 315 B

Line drawing of a Aerospatiale SA-315B Lama

Here you can see some of the scale paint work I have done to bring out the detail in the kit.

You can see in this photo I have gone for the Skookum 360 Digital Fly Bar which works very well and is easy to set up it took two test flights to set it up which is just a case of pluging my lap top in to the plug under the heli. All of my helis have Futaba 401s in so the tail was a peice of cake to do.

All my models have been converted to 2.4GHz, using the Spekrum DX7 with the AR7000 receiver as these incorperates DSM2 Technology, so I can not use the setting from the wrong model, which I have done in the past.

This mirror frame was made from copper wire, shaped and soldered, then painted. The mirror is a side cover off a old heli, filled and painted then silver paper added.

The graphics are vinyl stick on, I scaled and designed them, but had to get a company to print and cut them for me (Thanks to Ronald from Hopper signs). The White was applyed to the red panels then the red & white stars where added along with company lgos ect. I have fitted the model with Stobs,a beacon, nav and landing light, which realy sets it off in low light.
In the air.....
Here are some photos of my Hirobo Lama In flight me at the controls and Photographed by Paul Martin........... Thanks Paul.
